A plane full of passengers experienced an interesting situation not long ago; it started to “rain” inside their plane. So much so that while some of them tried to figure out where the water was coming from, others put up umbrellas to avoid getting wet. A video of the unusual event was shown on Twitter:

The flight was on Rossiya Airlines, which is owned by Russian state carrier Aeroflot. The Boeing 727 between Khabarovsk and Sochi was on its way to the Black Sea.
Most passengers were said to be traveling to go on vacation. One passenger said, “We were flying to the sun but the rain started falling on the plane.”
The plane landed without incident.
Following an investigation by Rossiya Airlines, it was revealed that a malfunctioning air conditioner caused the “rain” inside the plane.
