Chase Adds More Co-Brand Cards To 5X Offer

Starting on April 1st, Chase launched offers on several of its co-brand credit cards. We received offers for 5X points on our IHG, Marriott and World of Hyatt cards.  I’ve subsequently moved the Hyatt card to the front of my wallet for all non-bonused spending until I max out the $1500 offer.

When I originally checked, Chase did not target my Disney and Southwest cards. However today I received an email from Chase letting me know about an offer on my Southwest Premier card.

Southwest points aren’t Hyatt points but they’re sure worth more than Marriott or IHG points. Sure, Southwest just devalued its points, so each one is only worth about 1.2 cents each. However, that’s a 6% return on spending and significantly better than earning 2% cashback.

If you have Chase cards that weren’t previously targeted, you can check if things have changed by putting your account information into this link.

For me, once I’ve maxed out the offer on the Hyatt card, I’m switching non-bonused spending to my Southwest card.
