The Disney Visa cards from Chase have a number of benefits for people who visit Disney Parks or go on Disney Cruise Line. Before the pandemic, there were exclusive park experiences for cardholders, even if you only had the no-annual-fee Disney Visa card.
Unfortunately, those park experiences were put on hold because of the pandemic but it looks like Disney is bringing these experiences back for co-brand cardholders.
Disney just sent me an email saying the character perk experiences are back for Disney Visa cardholders at Walt Disney World. These include a Star Wars experience at Hollywood Studios and a Disney Character experience at Epcot.
If you have a Disney Visa card, you need to bring it with you to get access to the exclusive cardholder experiences.
Remember, even if you have your Disney Visa Card linked to a MagicBand or RF-enabled card, you still need to present your Disney Visa Card at the Cardmember Character Experience locations and use it for purchases to access your Cardmember perks throughout your stay
Back when we did this experience, Darth Vader wasn’t happy when Sharon photobombed our picture.
Even though we don’t visit Disney World as much as we used to, I still keep the no-fee Disney Visa card for the exclusive perks it provides. I’m glad to see the character experiences are back as the lines for these photo-ops can be over an hour for other guests.
