What’s Your Go-To Hotel In London?

a bridge over a river with a clock tower and a castle

I’m planning a 2024 trip to London and I need somewhere to stay. There’s one big difference from my usual plans which is causing me some difficulty. Unlike most trips, I’ll be taking this trip solo. I don’t have to think about many of the restrictions for our usual hotel stays.

When traveling together, I try to make it a little easier for Sharon. I try to find a hotel close to an airport connection (depending on if we’re flying from Heathrow or Gatwick). If we need to transfer, I try to find tube stops with elevators (or I’ll have to carry our luggage up the stairs).

I don’t have to worry about any of those things on this trip. I’m open to anything. What’s the best value hotel with points? The best luxury hotel? The most convenient hotel to multiple tube lines. Which hotels can you book with free nights from IHG, Hyatt, Marriott, Wyndham or Accor? The best boutique hotel. Your go-to London spot.

I have free reign to stay wherever I want. I want to take advantage of the opportunity and stay somewhere I wouldn’t otherwise visit.

Where do you stay in London and why?
