Hi friends and thank-you for your patience as we recover from Hurricane Irma! We and ours are all fine. We have a big tree in front of our house that lost one medium branch and about a bajillion small ones, but all we have to show for it is a dent in our gutter. Our neighbors were equally as lucky and except for a few pool enclosure screens that will have to be replaced, 1 down tree on the corner and piles of broken branches on everyone’s easement, we’re all OK. So we’re very happy and thankful for that, considering the devastation that is being experienced in other parts of the state and throughout the Caribbean. We were very, very fortunate.
We lost power for about 37.5 hours and still have no internet access, so Your Mileage May Vary will be running a little slower for now, as our plan is to write/schedule posts from the local Starbucks ;-). But we’re back and we’re thrilled about that! Stay tuned!
