Unless you’re of the generation that has been raised with computers, smart phones, etc., there can sometimes be a learning curve when you have a new piece of electronics. For some it might be as simple as a glance at the instructions just to learn one specific thing. For others, well, maybe they need to take a class or two. Such was the case of this poor chap…
Apparently Howard Newman, of Hampshire, UK, borrowed his son’s GoPro when he went on vacation in the Netherlands a while back. He could never figure out why he couldn’t see what he was videotaping, but continued to happily record his visit of Rotterdam, Amsterdam and other locations in country.
As per his son, Mark Newman: “He’s not great with technology so I gave him a quick rundown of how the buttons work – not thinking it would be that difficult as there were only three – and set him on his way.
“Upon uploading the video to edit I put it all together to watch un-edited to see what footage he had captured.
“It was then that we realized that what he had captured he was just his face due to the fact he thought the lens was the other side.
“My mum was in tears laughing, especially as the bit of filming she did she actually got it around the right way.
‘He blames the buttons being in the wrong place!”
