We wrote last week that we had a feeling the cost of park passes to get into Walt Disney World was going to go up. I hate to say I told you so, but the announcement of raised ticket prices happened the very next day.
Actually, not only did some WDW pass prices go up but so did a bunch of ticket prices to get into Disneyland, in Anaheim, California, too.
Here’s the damage…
Walt Disney World
The increases for WDW actually weren’t as bad as they could have been and were generally limited to annual passes. And even at that, not all annual pass prices were affected. Here are the ones that were:

Single and multi-day pass prices to WDW were not increased. This was the biggest surprise to us since they haven’t gone up since March 2019. Which isn’t to say they won’t go up next time. In fact, I’d bet almost anything that they will. But for now, at least, day pass prices remain unchanged.
Disneyland
Disneyland experienced more significant increases on a wider variety of passes. They also changed their system of a 3-tier Value/Regular/Peak season to a 5-tier (1 through 5) system; the higher the number, the busier the park, so the more expensive the ticket. You can find out how much a ticket will cost on the days(s) you want to visit over on Disneyland’s website.

So there you go. As we’ve always said, tickets to get into Disney parks are expensive. And now? Even moreso.
