Most people view flying as a means to get from Point A to Point B. Others view it as a chance for some bow-chicky-bow-bow (like this couple who was videotaped getting it on, WHILE IN THEIR SEATS. Did they think no one would notice??? Well, maybe that was part of the fun for them, I dunno.)
In a survey done in the 2010s, 9% of Americans claimed to have had a sexual encounter in an airplane seat, 17% in the airplane bathroom, 5% with a stranger on an airplane, and 3% with a crew member (Wikipedia). And we discovered a bunch of celebrities (34 of them!) who’ve said they’ve had sex of planes, too.
But what if YOU’d like to become a member of the mile high club but are afraid of getting caught? Or maybe you’d just like your private moments in the sky to be more comfortable than the lavatory?
Well, necessity is the mother of invention, I guess. Because what’s out there? Love Cloud, a private jet company based in Las Vegas, allows couples to have adult fun while flying above the clouds at an altitude of 5,280 feet (that’s 1 mile, y’all).
The brainchild of pilot Andy Johnson, Love Cloud provides its nookie flights in a twin-engine Cessna 414 aircraft. The interior of the aircraft includes custom made romantic interiors with a wireless sound and light system, red satin sheets, sex position pillows and cushions, and a custom made foam mattress to give your flight (and whatever you do during it) maximum comfort. Passengers are separated from the pilot by a secured curtain door. Oh, and the pilot wears a noise-canceling headset so they can’t hear anything happening behind them.
During Your Flight
From Love Cloud:
- When you arrive at the Airport you will be greeted by your very own pilot who will walk you to the aircraft and answer any questions you have. Prior to boarding the aircraft your pilot will explain the simple but essential safety instructions and will give you a full safety briefing.
- It will only take the pilot 5 to 10 minutes to reach the cruising altitude of 5,280 feet or exactly one mile high above Las Vegas. At that time, your pilot will notify you that it is safe to remove your safety belts. You and your loved one will remain totally undisturbed for that time and the only thing that you will hear is the hum of the engines.
- You have the option of bringing your own playlist of music to play from our wireless sound system or you can pick, choose, and/or create your own playlist of songs from our own Love Cloud music collection.
- We have provided a comfortable custom cabin with pillows, cushions and blankets to relax on.
- After the flight you will be presented with His and Her Mile High Club VIP Certificate Cards and will then have a photo next to the aircraft so that you have both a picture and card to remember your romantic adventure by.
Prices & Options
The charter flight company offers 3 price packages. The Silver package is $1295 and gives you a 45-minute flight for two. If you think you can last longer than that, they also offer Gold (60 minutes) and Platinum (90 minutes) packages for $1395 and $1895, respectively (insert your own joke about “more bang for your buck” here). They also have limo transportation add-on for an extra $249 (it includes transportation to/from the aircraft, a bottle of champagne, a dozen long stemmed roses and premium chocolates).
Flights on Love Cloud are offered during the daytime (with a tour of the Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam, Lake Meade, and the Las Vegas strip) or nighttime (a continuous flight over the beautiful bright lights of Las Vegas and a final low pass of the Las Vegas Strip).
