SeaWorld’s New Nighttime Ticket: Thrill Fest Ride Night

by SharonKurheg

I guess after seeing the success of Walt Disney World’s Early Morning Magic and Disney After Hours programs, SeaWorld decided to get in on the fun with their brand new offering, Thrill Fest Ride Night. And coaster fans, this one’s for you!

National Coaster Day is August 16, so SeaWorld Orlando is celebrating with a week long extravaganza, including a an event on that Friday called Thrill Fest!

For now, the event is a one-night-only kind of thing – on Fri., August 17, 2018 Sea World will offer all the thrills until late in the evening – MIDNIGHT!.

For the admission price of $99, you can stay at SeaWorld all day and enjoy all the rides and shows the park has to offer. After the fun of all day, you can stay until midnight to ride Mako, Manta, Journey to Atlantis, and Kraken Unleased, over and over and over and over 😉

But that’s not all!

Besides having access to Florida’s only flying coaster, the world’s first water coaster, and the Southeast’s only floorless coaster, SeaWorld will offer an informational event called Coaster Tech Talk.

From SeaWorld’s website:

Learn more about our flying roller coaster, Manta, from our Operations and Ride Maintenance teams. View up-close one of our Manta coaster trains inside the “coaster house” and learn from the experts about it’s [sic] unique features.

There will be two tours, one at 1pm and one at 2pm, that will each be about 20 to 30 minutes long. Entry will be first come first served, with a limit of 50 guests per tour. You’ll have to sign up in person at the information and reservation counter to try to be a part of either tour.

Thrill Fest Ride Night attendees will also have the option of getting four ride photos for $25 (available August 13-19th), AND have access to buy one, get one free drinks that night at Flamecraft Bar and Sharks Underwater Grill Bar, during an extended Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

And there’s more!

If you buy a Thrill Fest ticket now, you can choose a second park FREE – either Busch Gardens Tampa. Adventure Island Tampa or Aquatica Orlando! There’s a complimentary daily round-trip shuttle from Orlando Tampa to bring you to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island (if leaves Orlando in the morning and returns from Tampa in the evening) if you don’t have a car. The prices don’t include parking, taxes or service fees.
