Riding on the happy news that SeaWorld’s latest quarterly earnings showed that attendance, annual pass sales, revenue and in-park spending all increased, Aquatica Orlando, part of the SeaWorld family of theme parks, recently announced the upcoming debut of Fiesta Aquatica, which will be a new Latin-inspired celebration at the famed water park.
The month long event will run from September 1st though 30th and will feature Latin-inspired food and music, as well as beach games for the entire family.
Latin-inspired foods and beverages will be available daily, with food stations throughout the park and at Ke’re’s Bar, Mango Market and Waterstone Grill. Selections will include:
- Sangria
- Snow cones with Latin flavors
- Pinchos (small snacks) with pigeon peas
- Arepas (ground maize dough or cooked flour)
- Empanadas (a type of baked or fried pastry)
- Bacalaítos (salt cod pancake, sort of like fritters)
- Fish Tacos
- Tripleta (triple meat sandwich)
Multiple beach games will be available for guests of all ages during the event and Latin-inspired music and entertainment will be available daily throughout the park. Meanwhile, on Labor Day Monday (September 3) and every Saturday and Sunday, there will be a live DJ and energetic entertainers on hand at the water park’s beaches.
Aquatica is no stranger to Latin-inspired celebrations; Fiesta Aquatica San Diego premiered in 2017 to rave reviews, and Aquatica Orlando hosted La Noche de San Juan at Aquatica, a hard ticket event presented by local radio station Rumba 100.3FM, this past June.
Fiesta Aquatica will be included with park admission to Aquatica, so once you’re in the park, you can eat, dance AND enjoy everything Aquatica has to offer. Admission is cheaper if you purchase your Aquatica tickets ahead of time, so plan ahead and enjoy Fiesta Aquatica for as low of a price as possible. Tickets can be purchased on this page of Aquatica Orlando’s website.
