We’ve admittedly given SeaWorld Orlando a lot of bunk in recent months, between their “fluid” style of determining parking rates (the price changes daily and is sometimes as much as 50% more that what it cost to park on a previous day), and when they changed their 20-year-old policy of what you get when you book those really expensive tickets at Discovery Cove. But we also give credit where credit is due and if there’s one thing SeaWorld is good at, it’s occasional discounts and sales on their park tickets (when was the last time you saw Disney or Universal do that?).
SeaWorld just had its Labor Day sale that but guess what? It’s been extended! And if you buy your tickets soon, you can take advantage of some pretty decent BOGO and Annual Pass offers…
BOGO Tickets
Through September 16, 2018, if you buy a single day ticket to SeaWorld Orlando, you’ll get a second ticket for 50% off. That sale is based on the $79.99 internet rate, by the way, not the $99.99 gate price. So your $39.99 ticket is actually 60% off the gate price, which is not a bad deal at all! Heads up that ticket must be used by September 30, 2018.

Annual Passes
If you think you’ll go to SeaWorld Orlando (and perhaps other parks owned by them) a few times in the next year, an Annual Pass might be a better option for you. Those are on sale sale through September 16th, as well.
- Buy a SeaWorld Annual Pass for $175.00 and get a free single park ticket (Must purchase by 9/16/18. Single park ticket is valid for admission 9/1/18 – 9/30/18.)

Special Plans for Florida Residents
If you’re a Florida resident, heads up that SeaWorld’s Annual Pass rates don’t go down for you (geesh, even Disney and Universal do that!), but they are available via an EZPay system, which allows you to pay for your AP(s) on a monthly basis. Heads up that the contract for EZPay states your payment plan will automatically renew on a month-to-month basis following the initial term until you cancel it. So if you decide to get an AP with EZPay and don’t want an AP the following year, you have to proactively cancel in order for it to cancel (it’s not like WDW or Universal, where the default is your pass expires unless you renew. With SeaWorld, the default is your pass DOESN’T expire; you have to tell them to cancel. Which kind of sucks, IMHO. But that’s SeaWorld in a nutshell…a mixture of good and bad).
