For the second year in a row, Hilton is back with a promotion letting you redeem your Hilton Honors points for concert tickets. The “Lawn Days” promotion is offering two lawn seats for concerts in nearly 30 cities nationwide.
The value of the promotion depends on which concert you want to attend. Florida residents can choose from concerts at the Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheater in Tampa or the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach.

If you wanted to buy two lawn seats for Blink 182, you’d pay $115.88
Redeeming 10,000 points for $115.88 (1.15 cents per point) is actually a pretty great value for Honors points. The last time I redeemed Hilton points for a hotel I only received 0.625 cents per point value and was happy with that.
You’d get an even better return for your points if you wanted to go see Brad Paisley in West Palm Beach.
Final Thoughts
For me, this offer is a pass. Not because it isn’t a great value but because I know better than to purchase lawn tickets for a summer concert in Florida. While sitting outdoors on a summer evening in the north can be pleasant, in Florida you’ll go from a blazing heat and humidity festival one moment and five minutes later you’re sitting in the middle of this:
Which is why if I’m going to a summer concert at a Florida outdoor amphitheater, I’ll always splurge for the seats under the awning. If I’m not willing to pay that much for a ticket, then I don’t really want to go to the concert.
