Happy Sunday to all of our travel friends, both near and far! Here are some articles we’ve read from other bloggers (and other sources) that we think you may like, as well, so we’re passing them along.
- Frontier has extended its “Kids Fly Free” promotion. Deals We Like provides the details and new restrictions they’ve placed on the program
- Ben (Lucky) has been following a story about a passenger who fell asleep on a plane and woke up on a dark, empty plane parked out on the tarmac.
- There was some back and forth this week about the fourth-night free benefit from the Citi Prestige card. While the benefit is supposed to last in its present form until September, some websites were saying it has already changed. Nick from Frequent Miler reports that the problem is with how the people were making the booking with Citi.
- There was an interesting story on NPR’s website about a study seeing if people around the world will return a lost wallet. Will people turn it in? Does it matter how much money is in the wallet?
- Shawn from Miles to Memories writes about a new service that takes some of the anxiety away when booking a risky ticket. By risky, I mean one that has a high chance of leaving you stranded if something goes wrong. I wish I had this service on my My Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Travel Day
- Gary from View from the Wing points out the very big asterisk on American Airlines announcement about having satellite Wi-Fi on all mainline flights.
