Traveling with children, especially young children, on a plane can be a challenge even during the best of times. And if someone’s on a plane with their kid(s) and aren’t prepared to keep them busy, entertained and quiet for however many hours, well, is there any reason that the thought of child-free zones on aircraft doesn’t pop up every once in a while?
Airlines realize that providing some sort of entertainment for kids is important. Many have coloring sets (I don’t know if they still have them but Delta even had these last year and I loved them for it!), which will keep them busy for a little while, but this airline is offering something much different and, I think, better…
EasyJet, the British low-cost airline headquartered at London Luton Airport, has just launched its summer onboard lending library, wherein 300 aircraft are stocked with over 60,000 children’s books. They call it a “Flybary.”
Multiple children’s books can be found in the middle seat pocket of each plane, so parents can read to children during their flights in and round Europe. The books are available in seven European languages.
Done in partnership between easyJet and Harper Collins children’s books, this is the third year in a row that easyJet is offering its Flybary. The books change from year to year; 2019’s Flybary books include The Boy Who Could Do What He Liked, Geek Girl, Happy Hatchday, Mog and Bunny, and Paddington Abroad.
The Flybary books are meant to be returned to the seat pocket at the end of the flight, but if a family wants to buy their own copy or check out what other books are available, they’re offering a 20% discount on selected HarperCollins Children’s Books.

is it the most important thing to read books to airlines and children very exited to travelling his family on a holiday vacation and reading books in the duration of travelling to flight, good to entertaining children.
