An Easy And Fun Way To Get A Free Hotel Room For The Next 18 Years

a bed with pillows and a red blanket

Y’know, I’ve seen some great, innovative promos in my time, but this has got to be the best hotel promo I have ever seen. And it’s so simple! Stay at a hotel for a few hours, welcome a baby into your home 9 months later, and you get a free hotel night for the next 18 years. No, really! Here are more details:

Hotel Zed is a small chain (really small chain – currently 2, with 1 more opening this spring) of hotels in Canada. We’ve never been but they sound like our kind of place. From their website:

Hotel Zeds are ridiculously fun, unpretentious hotels in Victoria and Kelowna BC that look damn good on your Instagram. We’ve got comics books in every room, retro-chic amenities like vinyl listening stations, typewriter stations, board games and rotary dial phones, plus a bunch of other great stuff. You’ll never be bored here.

Despite our sometimes staying at places like the Waldorf=Astoria in NYC, the St. Pancras Renaissance in London, and the Goldener Hirsch in Salzburg, we are very comfortable with fun and unpretentious. Hotel Zed actually sounds a little bit like the Moxy that we stayed at in Arizona.

Anyway, here’s the promo they’re currently offering (I fully admit that I copied and pasted. I would have rewritten it but really, I wouldn’t have been able to do it as much justice as they did):

GET LUCKY THIS VALENTINE’S DAY WITH THE NOONER BABY MAKER!

We’ve done it again! We love to turn up the heat on Valentine’s Day with the Hotel Zed Nooner. This year, you could be getting lucky on Valentine’s Day 2020 and for the next 18 years!

It’s the start of a brand new decade, and it’s time to shake things up. Rebel against the same boring dinner-and-a-card & treat your Valentine to what they really want: time with you. In a hotel room. We’ll let you figure out the rest of the plan. That’s what our ever-popular Nooner package is all about, and it’s back again this year with a twist! Hint: now it’s called the Nooner Baby Maker!

What is a Nooner package exactly? It’s our spicy, four-hour Valentine’s Day special rewarding bedroom-active couples. Check-in from 10am until 2pm on February 14th for some, ahem, quality time with your special someone. Or, if an overnight is in the cards, take advantage of the Nooner overnight instead. After all, Valentine’s day is on a Friday this year.

To add more heat to the already perfect Valentine’s Day gift, if you and your partner welcome a baby into the family nine months after a Nooner Baby Maker check-in, you will receive a free stay every Valentine’s Day for the next 18 years at any Hotel Zed location.

The package is good for all our hotels (Victoria, Kelowna, and soon our Tofino hotel). We welcome all of our guests to participate in the Nooner Baby Maker regardless of gender expression, gender identity, and sexual orientation. At Hotel Zed, we think that all love is beautiful and that’s what we’re here to celebrate!

So there you go. Stay at any Hotel Zed location for a nooner or an overnight on Valentine’s Day. Get a little bow chicka bow bow action. Welcome a baby into your home 9 months later, and you have a free night at any Hotel Zed on Valentine’s Day for the next 18 years. What can I say? It’s just brilliant.

Go to Hotel Zed’s website for more details and for reservations.
