Twitter has got to be one of the best/worst things in the world. One minute horrible stuff about our world is trending, and the next minute you read something like this and it just warms your heart.
Daddy Dolls Inc. is a company that makes very special customized dolls. As per their website:
KEEPING FAMILIES CONNECTED since 2005 by providing unique, high quality comfort items to families who can’t always be together for whatever the reason. (Business Travel, Military Deployments, First Responders, Hospitalization, Distant Relatives, Bereavement, Divorce, Incarceration and Adoption, just to name a few!) We are here for you! 🙂
Their company is most famous for making dolls with the likeness of deployed military personnel so their children can have a doll that looks like their parent while (s)he is away.
As per a tweet on Twitter, a little girl named Kenley had a Daddy Doll but lost the doll that looked like her dad, somewhere between Bradley Int’l Airport, their Delta flight, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Int’l Airport. As written by the little girl’s mom:
Within just a few hours, the note had been retweeted thousands of times. Of course, replies were as varied as the people, with folks reminiscing about the things they had lost at airports, recommendations of where Lost & Found was, offers to help because they live just a few miles from the airport, trying to get #RealJamesWoods involved, prayers to St. Anthony, etc.
Finally, there came the tweet that everyone was hoping for:
Which was quickly followed up with:
And finally, this:
Mission accomplished and Kenley’s Daddy Doll even got to fly first class on his way back to her.
Don’t you just love a happy ending? ❤️
