“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” Never have the words of Ferris Bueller seemed so pertinent.
It was only a few days after I wrote an article about the current point expiration policies for each hotel program that the article was out of date.
A Wyndham Rewards representative let me know they updated their policy, as I predicted they would since their extension was only through May,
Wyndham’s new policy can be found on its website.
We are pausing the expiration of any Wyndham Rewards points until September 30, 2020 and have extended current Wyndham Rewards Member Levels (status) for all members globally through the end of 2021.
So while previously points expirations were paused through May 31, that date has been pushed out to September 30, 2020.
I’m sure this date is also subject to change. As Dr. Fauci says, “You don’t make the timeline, the virus makes the timeline.”
