Orlando Int’l Airport/MCO Readies To Welcome Back Traveling Public

Orlando International Airport put out a press release on May 5th to make the public aware of the measures it was taking to prepare for the resumption of normal commercial activity.

“The safety of the traveling public is of the utmost importance to us and our partners,” said Phil Brown, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “For the last several months, we have taken action for safe and clean facilities to best protect the traveling public and employees from the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, we focus on rebuilding confidence for passengers that we’re doing what we can to maintain a safe environment.”

The first focus of the press release was the measures the airport was implementing in terms of passenger safety:

The press release also discusses the measures that have been taken in the name of employee safety and air service and what their next steps are, in terms of communication with governing bodies.
