Now, here’s something you don’t see every day.
Not too long ago, Ukraine International Airlines flight PS6212 from Antalya, Turkey to Kyiv, Ukraine had just landed without incident. Passengers were exiting the 737-800 when one of them, a woman with spouse and two children with her, decided she was “too hot.” So she went to the emergency exit, opened the door and exited onto the wing, “to get some air.”
Video shows that she was eventually coaxed back inside the plane.

Not only was it very serious to climb onto the wing of a plane without authorization, it was also an incoming international flight. So besides calling the police and an ambulance, the pilot also called border patrol.
The woman could not tell the police why she went out on the wing, other than because she was “too hot.” Tests show no drugs or alcohol in her system.
The woman has since been banned from flying on Ukraine International Airlines.
Fortunately, this all happened after the plane had landed. Although, had the woman gotten too hot while the plane was still in the air, she would have found that this is what happens if you try to open the door of the plane when it’s in the air.
