If you’ve ever had a special request for a hotel, you know that their response can be hit or miss. Being on a specific floor, having a certain view, being near (or away from) the elevator, having a room next to another guest, getting early check-in or late check-out, you name it – the request is usually noted and they’ll “do their best,” but it’s rarely guaranteed (then again, even for the few things you can request that are guaranteed, you might request a room that’s handicapped accessible, for example, and get this hot mess of a room).
But I want to share the good news that not only followed someone’s request but went above and beyond.
Novotel Sydney West HQ is a 12-minute walk from Rooty Hill train station. It’s a modern hotel in Sydney’s western suburbs that’s also 3 km from Blacktown International Sportspark and 6 km from Featherdale Wildlife Park zoo.
Part of the Accor collection, it gets an 8.9/10 rating on Booking.com, and 4.5 on Tripadvisor.
The hotel boasts complimentary perks such as on-site parking, WiFi, and access to the ONE55 gym and Sydney Gymnastics and Aquatic Centre (SGAC). Their streamlined rooms even have mood-lit headboards. Breakfast is available from the in-house cafe and guests can head to West HQ for an array of dining options like PizzAperta Manfredi and Steak & Co. by Sean Connolly.
All of that sounds wonderful. But back to the topic of special requests.
A user on TikTok named Natty Nitro had an upcoming stay at the Novotel Sydney West HQ, and decided to have a little fun with a special request. The hotel’s response was perfect. Take a look:

All I can say is if they’re going to pay that much attention to detail, that’s a hotel where I would like to be a guest!
