It’s been a while since American Express added monthly credits to many of its co-branded credit cards. I’ve been pretty good about remembering to use these credits until now, but with us being away, I kind of forgot about it.
Good thing that the month doesn’t end until midnight tonight and it’s relatively easy to use these credits, unlike other AMEX credits.
Here are the credits I’m eligible for:
$10 back after spending $10 at restaurants
- AMEX Bonvoy
- Hilton Surpass AMEX
$20 back after spending $20 at restaurants
$10 back after spending $10 on wireless services
It took me less than 5 minutes to get back $50 from American Express.
I opened the Starbucks app on my phone and loaded $10, $10, and $20 to my account from each card.
Then I logged into my T-Mobile account and paid $10 of my bill with the Delta card. That’s more than enough to cover the $5 we paid for a day pass to get faster internet in Reykjavik.
I’ve never been happier to have my inbox flooded with emails from AMEX.
AMEX is counting on people not using these benefits. Let’s prove them wrong.
