Hotels.com Is Offering 25 Free Hotel Stays If You Can Listen To 24 Hours of Christmas Music

a room with a bed and a christmas decoration

This is a contest that, for some, could be a dream come true. Or it could be a nightmare. It all depends on how you feel about Christmas music.

Hotels.com is offering QUITE a challenge – the Hotels.com Not-So-Silent Night Challenge. The challenge is to stay 24 hours in a “totally Christmased out” (they call it “decked-to-the-halls”) hotel suite where they’ll have Christmas songs playing. And yep, they’ll be played for the entire 24 hour visit.

From Hotels.com:

If you “survive” 24 hours of the music mania, you will be rewarded with 25 hotel nights deposited into your Hotels.com Rewards Account. The challenge participant will also receive a wake-up call from holiday music legend Lance Bass to gently wake you up from all that sleep you won’t be getting, a $1,000 travel stipend, and a $500 room service credit to fuel up while you rock out. Whether you love or loathe holiday music, nominate yourself for the Hotels.com Not-So-Silent Night challenge below.

And remember – you have to stay in the room for the entire 24 hours after you check in, if you want to get the 25-room payout.

You can enter the contest through December 12, 2021. Just fill out entry form at Hotels.com/NotSoSilentNight and describe in 75 words or less why you would survive or thrive in the Hotels.com Not-So-Silent-Night Suite (with extra credit if you include a video of why you’d be the best pick). If Hotels.com picks your entry, you’ll get to stay at the Fairmont on The Magnificent Mile in Chicago from December 19-21, 2021. You’ll also get the $1,000 travel stipend to get you to/from Chicago, the $500 room service credit in the form of an e-gift card and the wake-up call video from Lance Bass (he of NSYNC fame). If you make it through the 24 hours from the 19th to the 20th, 25 Hotels.com Reward nights valued at $250 per night will also be deposited into your Hotels.com Rewards account.

The rules don’t say anything about travel bloggers not being allowed to enter, and I’m ALLLLL about Christmas and Christmas music (Well, except for “The Christmas Shoes”…ugh! Oh, and I’m a 4 time Whamageddon champion, so I’d just as soon not hear that one either, thank you very much. But anything else? I’m in!). So off I go to enter! 😉 See y’all at https://www.hotels.com/page/notsosilentnight/
