Hilton is back with their latest worldwide promotion. Like many of their recent offers, this one offers 2X points for most stays. In a change from other promotions, this one doesn’t offer bonus points for staying at a Hilton resort or for longer stays. Instead, Hilton is offering 3X points for stays in certain cities.
The “Multiply Your Points” promotion is good for stays between September 6 and December 31, 2023 (You must check out by December 31 to be eligible). Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay. However, stays booked prior to registration are eligible.
And to make things interesting, Hilton doesn’t make it easy to find out which cities are included in the offer.
What???
On the registration page is a list of some of the eligible cities including Washington D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, Bangkok, Melbourne, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, London, Berlin, Barcelona, and more.
But to find the “more,” you have to click on that red “EXPLORE NOW” button.
When you do that, you find yourself on this page, which, at first, tells you about some (but not all!) of the cities where you can earn 3x bonus points in:

Final Thought
Hilton Honors provides a decent return for hotel stays. Earning 2X or 3X points on a stay can earn a reasonable amount of points. Back in 2019, I earned enough points during a two-week stay in a Hampton Inn on a work assignment to pay for a nice weekend resort getaway.
I always recommend registering for promotions like these as it only takes a second and you never know if you’re going to need a last-minute stay at a Hilton-branded hotel.
