While a small group of passengers seeks experiences reminiscent of private jet travel, most simply want to breeze through the airport and get to their gate. Services like TSA PreCheck and CLEAR have streamlined the security process, but there’s still the part of the journey before you even reach the security line.
CLEAR Introduces Ambassador Assist
To address this gap, CLEAR has introduced its Ambassador Assist service, designed to make the pre-security portion of the airport experience more efficient. The service is now available at Denver International (DEN), Washington Dulles International (IAD), and Orlando International Airport (MCO), and it offers two levels of assistance to travelers.
Two Service Options:
- Curb-to-CLEAR ($49 per traveler)
This option provides a dedicated Ambassador who will meet you curbside, assist with your carry-on luggage, and escort you through the CLEAR Plus Lane for expedited security screening. - Curb-to-Gate ($149 per traveler)
This level offers a more comprehensive service: an Ambassador who will guide you through security and beyond, taking you to your gate, lounge (if you have access), or any other terminal destination.
In addition to these services, Ambassadors assist with checked bags, helping travelers navigate to the appropriate baggage counter if they need to check in luggage.
These services are available exclusively to CLEAR Plus members and require a reservation at least 10 hours in advance. Travelers aged 18+ in your group must be CLEAR Plus members, though children under 17 are free if traveling with a member.
What Ambassador Assist Won’t Do
- Wait with you at the gate or escort you from the lounge to the gate.
- Watch children or pets, or accompany minors.
- Accept tips for their service.
