We’ve gone over the history of US-based lifetime airline passes in the past. We also let you know the details when an “all you can fly” pass, which would be good for a year, was introduced in Europe a few months back.
So is it any surprise that a US airline is now going to have a sweepstakes where one lucky winner will get a “fly for free for a year” pass? Of course not. Except, as I said, there’s a catch…it’s from Frontier Airlines.
Are you still reading? OK, here are the details:
The “New Year, New Adventure” promotion will give one lucky winner the opportunity to fly wherever they want that Frontier flies. Well, sorta…even that is going to be limited. The winner will actually get 24 round-trip tickets, valid for $250 each (that’s a $6000 value), in the form of twenty-four Frontier Airlines vouchers. Which still isn’t anything to sneeze at.
Each person is allowed to enter the sweepstakes once. But if you enter their phone number (so you can get SMS from the airline; good times!), and share the promotion on your personal Instagram, Facebook and/or Twitter account, you’ll get one extra entry (max number of entries per person, total, is two).
The sweepstakes is open to all US residents age 18 and over who live in any of the 50 states except the District of Columbia, New York and Florida. Well, except employees and their immediate families, as well as its sponsors, affiliates, distributors, subsidiaries, and advertising/promotion agencies and/or those living in the same household of each such employee – all of them are not eligible.
The sweepstakes ends on January 31st and the winner will be announced around February 7th.
