Well, this story is rather…interesting. And for mature audiences. And is NSFW, too. You’ve been warned.
If you’re friends with flight staff, you know that they get to deal with a heck of a lot of bizarre situations. Fistfights. Deaths on board. A woman who was served divorce papers by her husband, mid flight.
This is one of “those” types of stories.
Anyway, Kellie Rose Collins is a former flight attendant. She has a TikTok channel where, back in mid-December, she took part in a newer trend of the platform where people share their most bizarre stories in the form of a text slideshow.
Over the course of two videos – one text style, one narrative, she shared a story where I’m just, “I can’t even.”
The first video, the text-based one, said:
I was working a morning flight and noticed someone in the back of the plane had their bare feet up on the headrest of the seat in front of them. I headed back to tell them to put their dogs away only to find that her pants were down around her knees, and she was clicking her BARE BEAN.
Not surprisingly, the video was VERY popular (as of this writing, it has 2.3 million views). Also not surprisingly, viewers had questions. LOTS of questions. And comments. And Collins tried to keep up but I guess eventually she figured out it’d be easier to just explain the whole story.
That’s when she made video #2. THAT one has over 8 million views. You’ll soon understand why.
Collins explained that she was working an early morning, 2-hour flight, from LAX to Seattle, with two other flight attendants. They had just finished cart service and were hanging out in the galley, just talking with each other, when she (Collins) saw someone’s bare feet on the back of the headrest of the seat directly in front of them.
She said she walked to the back of the plane, ready to tell them to put their feet down. But she got back there, and there was this woman, with her pants and underwear around her knees, with her feet up on the seat.
Collins continued, “I walk up, and I see her in all of her glory. I mean, her eyes were rolling in the back of her head. She was ‘not there’”
She has to get the woman’s attention somehow. “So I go, ‘Ma’am! (Pause) Nuthin. She’s still going for it.”
So Collins grabbed a blanket and threw it over the woman, who was apparently still doing what she was doing.
Collins is trying to figure out what to do, so, now in the back galley, she calls the pilots and explains what’s happening. Their first reaction is to think she’s joking, which she understood, “Because who’s going to believe that?”
Her response to the pilot?: “PAL! I’ve never been so serious about anything in my life!”
“It was at some point during the conversation with the pilots that she finished,” Collins said, claiming that, ummmm, she could hear the evidence of that (or, as she said, “Well, I have EARS!”). 😉
Once done, the passenger immediately fell asleep. Collins said it was a pretty empty flight, passengers had moved around, and that particular passenger had moved herself to the back row, “for some privacy, clearly.” So there weren’t really people around her for three or four rows. Collins suggested that, “if any of them did hear any commotion, they were doing their best to act like they didn’t.”
Meanwhile, the pilots must have eventually believed Collins’ story, because they decided to call the authorities on the woman, so they were going to meet her on the plane when they landed.
The flight, again, was a short one – only about 2 hours. But the woman stayed asleep for the rest of the flight. When the final descent was happening and the flight attendants were making sure everyone’s seat belt was buckled, Collins went back over to the woman to make sure that she not only had buckled her seat belt, but also had pulled her pants back up. She had to wake the woman up for this; Collins said she was still very “out of it.”
They were in their landing pattern, so Collins was in the jump seat, where she could still see and talk to the woman.
“Do you remember anything during this flight?” Collins asks the woman.
“No,” the woman responds.
Collins then had to tell the woman that she’d need to stay seated when they land, because the police were coming for her.
It sounded as if the woman had no idea why that would be happening. “She was just shocked, and I told her what happened, and she was still kind of out of it, but I think the shock was really kind of waking her up,” Collins said. “As we landed, she just kept trying to explain to me that she took Ambien, she doesn’t remember what happened, dadadadada.”
But that was it. The police came and arrested her. Collins says she had to fill out a report, but didn’t know what happened to the woman after that.
Did she go on the No Fly list? Did she get registered as a sex offender? Collins says she has no idea. As a flight attendant, “They don’t tell me s**t.”
Collins said she has so many crazy stories to tell from when she was a flight attendant. “People check their brains, like they do their bags.”
Here’s the video. Heads up that it’s NSFW, due to adult language and situations:

So what’s up with this Ambien stuff that the woman took?
Ambien is a medication usually used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. So essentially, it’s a sleeping pill. It’s not available over the counter; it’s only available via prescription.
One of the side effects of Ambien is that it puts you at risk of sleepwalking and complex sleep behaviors (CSBs). That latter one means activities performed during sleep, followed by amnesia. “These activities may include walking, driving, eating, having sex, having conversations, and performing other daily activities while asleep.”
I’m no doctor, but I’m pretty sure the woman in question was experiencing some CSBs. 😉
As always, this was on TikTok, so you may or may not want to take the story with a grain of salt. I Googled extensively and never found anything that relates to what Collins said…but if the local news didn’t know about it, then nope, it wouldn’t have gotten a whole lot of publicity.

My wife worked in retail many years ago and the employees at times would have to deal with men who came into the store to masturbate in the department store. In their case, it didn’t involve medication.
