Most airlines offer some seat upgrades, ranging from extra legroom to a bundle of perks like free drinks and priority boarding. These seats are often available for purchase or as perks for frequent flyers and co-branded credit card holders.
Until now, I considered JetBlue’s Even More Space seats among the best options. They provided an additional 3 to 7 inches of legroom, with some seats offering up to 38 inches of pitch. They also came with:
- Early Boarding – Ensuring overhead bin space, even for Blue Basic fares
- More Speed – Priority security access at select airports (for those without TSA PreCheck or CLEAR)
Prices were reasonable, with a 2-3 hour flight upgrade typically costing around $60.
Introducing JetBlue’s EvenMore: A New Bundle
JetBlue has now rebranded and expanded this offering under the name EvenMore. Instead of just a seat upgrade, it’s now a bundle that includes:
- Extra Legroom
- Early Boarding
- Prime Location at the Front of the Cabin
- Dedicated Overhead Bin Space
- Priority Security (formerly More Speed)
- Complimentary Alcoholic Drinks and a Premium Snack (on flights over 250 miles with inflight service)
At first glance, this looks nearly identical to the old Even More Space seats—except now, you get free drinks and a snack on longer flights.
What Does This Mean for Travelers?
I have an upcoming JetBlue flight where I had already purchased Even More Space for $54 per seat. What is the new price for EvenMore seating on the same flight? $64 per seat.
But here’s the kicker—EvenMore doesn’t include exit row seats. Those are now classified separately as Extra Legroom seats, which still provide more space but lack the other perks like priority boarding and free drinks. On my flight, JetBlue is charging the same price for exit row seats as EvenMore despite the reduced benefits.
Additionally, EvenMore isn’t available on JetBlue’s E190 fleet. Instead, the previous Even More Space seats on these aircraft are now classified as Extra Legroom seats without the added perks of the new bundle.
Mosaic Members Get EvenMore Seats for Free
JetBlue’s Mosaic members receive complimentary access to EvenMore seats:
- Mosaic 1 (entry-level) members can select EvenMore seats for free at check-in.
- Mosaic 2 and higher members can select these seats for free at the time of booking.
This is an added perk for JetBlue’s elite members, making the transition to EvenMore a positive change for frequent flyers. However, for non-Mosaic travelers, the shift may feel more like a price increase than an enhanced experience.
How to Book EvenMore Seats
If EvenMore is available on your flight, you’ll see it in the search results when booking. You can also add it later from the seat map when managing your trip or checking in.
However, EvenMore seats are not currently bookable with TrueBlue points or JetBlue travel credits. JetBlue plans to introduce this feature later in the year, but for now, you can only pay for the upgrade using standard payment methods.
Final Thoughts
JetBlue’s EvenMore package aligns it with products like Delta Comfort+ and American Airlines’ Main Cabin Extra, offering a more premium experience beyond extra legroom. However, if you valued the old Even More Space product simply for legroom and priority boarding, this change may feel like a price increase for minimal additional benefit.
Would you pay extra for snacks and a drink, or do you prefer to stick with basic extra legroom seats? Let me know in the comments.
