The Plaza Premium Lounge has been open in Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C since 2022. Since we fly out of Terminal C often, as it’s the home to JetBlue, I went back to check out the lounge, see what it offers, and confirm which passengers have easy access and who can get in.
Plaza Premium Lounges
Plaza Premium has over 100 lounge locations around the world. However, there are only two branded lounges in the U.S., one of which is in Orlando.
We’ve been to other Plaza Premium lounges around the world and were impressed with the quality. So we were looking forward to visiting when this lounge location was announced.
Lounge Access
Access to the Plaza Premium Lounges has changed several times, so it’s worth a refresher course. The American Express Platinum (Personal and Business) cards include access to Plaza Premium lounges as a benefit. As of March 1, 2025, Capital One Venture X will no longer offer direct access to Plaza Premium lounges.
Plaza Premium Lounges are also a part of the Priority Pass network, meaning those with a Priority Pass Select membership, like from the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Capital One Venture X, Ritz Carlton Card, or Citi Prestige, will also have access to the lounge.
All of these methods require passengers to have a same-day boarding pass.
Guest access varies depending on which card you use:
- AMEX Platinum – one guest
- Priority Pass – Depends on which card provides your access
Another limitation is that Priority Pass members can only access the lounge for 2 hours, but I find it difficult to see how they enforce this rule.
It’s also possible to purchase entrance into the lounge, which is $65 plus taxes.
Plaza Premium Lounge Orlando
The Plaza Premium Lounge is located in Terminal C of Orlando International Airport. It’s on the second floor, overlooking the central Palm Court. The entrance is located just before Gate C240.
The check-in area is on the first floor, where you’ll need to show your documents. After that, you can either take the elevator or the stairs to the 2nd floor.
The first area of the club is a game/TV room. Billed as an interactive family space, you’ll find a large-screen TV to watch sporting events, games, and touch-screen experiences. There’s seating in the area and a small drink and snack station.
Walking past this area, you’ll find the main area of the lounge. It’s one large room with windows on each side. One side overlooks Palm Court and the other looks at the airport.
On the Palm Court side of the room is the large bar area. 
Guests to the Plaza Premium Lounge get complimentary drinks, but there’s also the opportunity to purchase better quality drinks for reasonable prices. (This menu is from mid-2023, so prices may have changed.)
For food options, there was a hot station with a few options.
There was also a refrigerated station with salads and fruit selections.
There was also a space for bread, snacks, and desserts. (Sorry, no pictures.)
I didn’t taste any of the food as I wasn’t hungry then, but it looked OK for an airport lounge. We’d rather eat at the nearby Cask & Larder if we were looking for a meal. This is not the SilverKris Lounge, but it will suffice if you’re stuck and feeling hungry.
Which Airlines Fly From Terminal C
While it’s possible to travel from the Terminal A & B building to Terminal C, it’s quite a ride and would require clearing security several times. Therefore it’s only practical for people flying from Terminal C to use the lounge.
Currently, that includes:
- JetBlue (Which is the terminal’s primary and only domestic airline)
- Aer Lingus
- Aeromexico
- Air France
- Avianca
- Azul
- British Airways
- Caribbean Airlines
- Copa Airlines
- Discover Airlines
- Emirates
- GOL
- iberojet
- Icelandair
- Norse
- Porter
- Sunwing Airlines
Final Thought
The Plaza Premium Lounge is a great addition to Terminal C, as none of the airlines have a dedicated lounge. However, there are also several other places in the terminal where you can grab a meal or a drink. Additionally, the gate areas have plenty of seats, each with charging ports available.
As we have access to the lounge for free with our credit cards, we occasionally stop by for a quick snack and a beverage before our flight. However, if you need to pay for access, there are plenty of places where you can spend $65 on a meal and get more than just lounge food and well drinks.
