One of the lesser-known benefits of the Chase Sapphire Preferred card is that you earn 3X points on select streaming services. When the bonus category first launched, it focused on the major platforms, and for a while, Chase seemed to be keeping up by adding a few newer names.
But lately, the list has gone a bit stale. Despite the continued explosion of niche and specialty services, Chase hasn’t added much beyond the mainstream. While you’ll earn 3X on Netflix or Hulu, please note that this bonus does not apply to Crunchyroll, FloSports, or other more specialized platforms.
Here’s the current list of streaming services that will earn 3X Ultimate Rewards points:
- Apple Music
- Apple TV
- Disney+
- ESPN+
- Fubo TV
- Max
- Hulu
- Netflix
- Pandora
- Paramount+
- Peacock
- Showtime
- SiriusXM
- Sling
- Spotify
- YouTube Premium
- YouTube TV
- Vudu
Earning 3X points on streaming services is a nice bonus, especially since these are monthly charges many people pay anyway. But it’s disappointing that Chase hasn’t kept up with the evolving streaming landscape. As more people branch out beyond the big-name platforms, the value of this bonus category is limited by a list that feels frozen in time. Here’s hoping Chase gives it a refresh soon.
