There can’t be a whole lot of people who dislike Dolly Parton. Even if you’re not a fan of her music, there’s also all the good that she’s done. She’s donated money toward education, medicine, social causes and to those affected by natural disasters. She started a foundation that has donated even more money to those in need. She’s given so much that she received the Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy in 2022.
A smart businesswoman, Parton has also lent her name to a variety of for-profit projects. Dollywood is probably the largest. But in recent years there have also been “her” brand of Lodge cast iron, kitchen and housewares collection, pet apparel, holiday party goods, Duncan Hines baking mixes, the Home & Heart summer housewares collection, a Williams Sonoma Christmas collection, plus Dolly T-shirts, stationery, wine, perfume, video, makeup, Krispy Kremes, Funko Pops, and more.

So is it any surprise that, coming in 2026, Dolly’s going to start taking over rest stops in Tennessee and beyond?
Well, not ALL rest stops; Buc-ee’s will probably remain as popular as ever. But the multi-award-winning performer is partnering with Tennessean Travel Stop to rebrand its flagship Cornersville, TN location in summer 2026.
Says Parton:
I have spent the bulk of my life on the road, and more specifically on a bus. All the years spent visiting greasy spoon cafes, truck stops, and roadside pit stops have given me an understanding of what traveler’s desire on the road. Whether you are driving a truck, a bus, or a car, you want a place that feels like home and recharges you for the rest of your journey. I believe we will fill a void out there on the highways, all while bringing the heart and soul of Tennessee.
The Tennessean Travel Stop brand is already well known for its regional roots and quality service. Collaborating with the cultural reach and unmistakable Tennessee spirit of Dolly Parton is a natural.

“The Tennessean has long been a ‘home away from home’ for truck drivers, travelers, and locals alike. Our roots in this community run deep—we’ve created jobs, built connection, and welcomed generations of people through our doors,” said Gregory H. Sachs, Chairman/CEO of the Tennessean Travel Stop and Sachs Capital Group. “This new partnership allows us to carry that legacy forward in a way that celebrates everything special about Tennessee. Together with Dolly and her team, we’re reimagining what a travel stop can be—transforming it into a warm, inviting destination where everyone feels welcome to slow down, kick up their feet, and stay awhile.”
According to dollyparton.com, “The first rebranded location will serve as both a proof of concept and flagship for future sites planned under the Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stops banner. Additional locations across Tennessee and beyond are set to be announced in 2026.”
