She Did It! City #25 Is Complete — JetBlue 25-for-25 Is in the Books

by joeheg

And just like that… 25 out of 25. 🎉 Just before Thanksgiving, my wife Sharon wrapped up JetBlue’s ambitious 25-for-25 promotion with a simple out-and-back from Orlando to Providence, RI (PVD).

The Quick Hit

Ironically, it was the only flight of the whole journey where the Wi-Fi was down — and the IFE in her row wasn’t working either. A fitting reminder of how few hiccups she’s had overall.

PVD Surprise

Before arrival, Sharon mentioned to the crew that this was City #25 and asked if she could grab a quick photo on the empty aircraft. They went above and beyond — they invited her to hop up front for a cockpit photo.

Ground staff even surprised her with an upgrade to Row 1 for the flight back to Orlando (entire row to herself).

Note from Sharon – I’m 4’6″ tall. There was still a good 3-4″, if not more, between my feet and the wall. I would NEVER put my feet up like that if I thought they would actually touch the wall

Same aircraft, so still no Wi-Fi — but the IFE worked this time. She landed at MCO, where I picked her up, and that was that.

All Rewards Posted

Two days later, JetBlue emailed confirmation that she’d completed all 25 destinations and the 350,000 points plus Mosaic 1 status appeared in her account the same day.

What’s Next

I’ll share a full cost breakdown of every flight, hotel, and lounge visit we used to pull this off, and Sharon will post her takeaways from her first — and probably last — airline promo of this scale.

Huge thanks to the many friendly crews and gate agents who cheered her on along the way, especially the flight crew and staff at Boston, who helped her during her super-short connection between BOS and SYR.
