It’s always exciting when there’s news of a new higher-end hotel or resort coming down the pike. It’s even more exciting when it’s almost ready for guests.
In April 2023, groundbreaking took place in Pietermaai, Curaçao for The Pyrmont, an Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort. Although Hyatt and Sandals both already have a presence in the area, the Pyrmont will be the island’s first all-inclusive property operating under Marriott International.

Nearly 2 years later, the all-inclusive resort is in the final stages of construction, and the resort is starting to offer sneak peeks at what guests will be able to enjoy, on its Instagram account.

Resort Features (Rooms, Pools, Dining, and More)
Caribbean Journal reports that The Pyrmont Curaçao will offer:
- roughly 300 rooms (including various levels of suites)
- eight restaurants
- five bars (including an adults-only rooftop option)
- two ballrooms
- two swimming pools (including an infinity pool)
- a kids’ club
- a dive center
- a long oceanfront promenade.
Developers are saying sustainability is also a focus, with energy-efficient systems and locally sourced materials incorporated into the design.
There are two historic buildings on the property (known as Cerro Bonito and Kas de Pueblo to locals), which are being completely restored and will be integrated into the resort’s development.

Curaçao is a Caribbean island that offers more culture and fewer cruise ships, which makes it popular with those who want a different kind of getaway.
Opening Timeline and Marriott Bonvoy Details
Once completed in mid-2026, The Pyrmont Curaçao is expected to join Marriott Bonvoy, allowing travelers to earn and redeem points on their all-inclusive stays.
