When you’re on a plane, who you get as a seatmate can really be Russian Roulette.
I mean, you could get the greatest person in the world; polite, quiet, minds their own business, but is willing to talk if/when you are, etc.
Or you can get an airline version of a dumpster fire. An ill-behaved toddler. An adult who doesn’t shut up. Someone with body odor, or who wants to look out the window while you have the window seat, so they lean ALLLLL in to you.
Or you can be like a recent Emirates passenger, Hayley, whose seatmate, an older woman, wound up using Hayley’s behind as a pillow during their international flight.
As of this writing, Hayley’s 18-second TikTok video has gone viral, garnering nearly 21 million views.
“tbt to when this old lady spooned me for an entire 15-hour flight,” it said in the narrative.
Here’s what happened
The video footage starts with nothing really out of the ordinary – her neighbor is simply adjusting her blanket, looking like she’s trying to get more comfortable.
But then things go into the Upside Down, when the seatmate, after staring at Hayley for way too long to be considered polite, lies flat with her head nestled against Hayley’s backside.
“This is not real,” the human neck pillow lamented in the caption. “Her face is literally in my @$$.”

Obviously, viewers went to town on the situation. Some had their claws out on the old lady:

Others wondered why Hayley didn’t do more.

Hayley eventually explained, in response to one of the comments, that it was 3 a.m. after a work trip and that she just didn’t “have it in her” to protest, claiming she instead zonked out.
Unfortunately, the little old lady using Hayley’s butt as a pillow wasn’t her only infraction on the plane — Hayley already wrote in the comments that when she got up to use the lavatory, the old woman also tried to steal her window seat.
How asinine!
