I have to admit, I’ve been a bit lax in looking at my AMEX offers. These offers are one of the best ways to offset the annual fees that many American Express cards charge so ignoring them is like walking away from free money. I checked today and found several offers that I should be able to take advantage of without much effort. I’m also kicking myself because I cost myself money by not checking sooner.
Get a one-time $15 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $75+ in one or more transactions online at telecharge.com by 4/30/2018. See terms for exclusions.
We just saw five shows on Broadway and bought the tickets from Telecharge. I could have gotten back at least $45 had I registered for this offer. However, I still prefer to book theater tickets with my Citi Prestige because of the great insurance benefits it provides in case of emergencies.
Roy’s Restaurant – Get a one time statement credit of $20 after a single purchase of $100 or more
An easy way to get around the $100 requirement is to buy a $100 gift card from the restaurant. That way you can use part of it the same day and then save the rest for next time. However, it’s easy to spend $100 on a single visit.
CLEAR – Get a one-time $79 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make a single purchase of $179 or more, online at www.clearme.com by 3/23/2018.
CLEAR is the fastest way to get through security at the over thirty airports that have CLEAR checkpoints. We still haven’t had that much trouble at Orlando with TSA Pre-check lines but I know other cities aren’t the same and CLEAR is a way to fix that. A yearly membership is usually $179 so you’ll only be paying $79. Not a bad deal.
Kimpton – Get a one-time $60 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend $300+ on room rate and room charges, when you pay for your stay with Kimpton Hotels from 2/20/18 to 5/20/18.
This is a great deal if you were planning a Kimpton stay and it will stack nicely with the offer of 10,000 IHG points for staying at a Kimpton.
Get a one-time $10 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $40+ in one or more transactions online at Etsy.com or in the Etsy app by 3/22/2018.
If you like to buy crafty things on Etsy, get $10 back when you spend more than $40. With this offer it can be from a single or multiple transactions.
Get a one-time $10 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make a single purchase of $50 or more in-restaurant at Anthony’s Coal Fire Pizza by 4/29/2018.
Get a one-time $60 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend $300+ on room rate and room charges, when you pay for your stay at select MGM Resorts destinations from 1/24/18 to 4/24/18.
If you love Vegas, here’s a way to save on your room if you’re staying at an MGM Resort. Just remember to watch out for those resort charges. Check the fine print, as you can’t prepay for a stay and it has to be completed during the promotional period.
Boxed.com – Spend $75 or more at Boxed.com and earn a $25 statement credit
This offer from Boxed.com has been around before. It’s pretty easy to find bulk items you need to get to $75 and you’ll be saving 33%. If you’re new to Boxed.com, if you sign up with our link you’ll get a $15 credit off your first order. Just remember, that means you’ll then need to spend $90 total to get the $25 credit.
Get a one-time $30 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $75+ in one or more transactions online at rover.com by 4/16/2018.
We’ve never used Rover.com because we’ve had other options for dog sitting but I’ve read of others liking the service.
Save $10 on TurboTax Deluxe, $15 on TurboTax Premier, $20 on TurboTax Self-Employed or $20 on TurboTax Live from 1/18/2018 – 5/30/2018 by visiting turbotax.intuit.com/go/amex.
Tax season is upon us and here’s a way to save on TurboTax products. I’d be careful and check prices because even with saving $10 or $20 with the AMEX link, you may find a cheaper price from Costco or Amazon.
Get a one-time $30 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make a single purchase of $150 or more in-restaurant at STK by 4/22/2018. See terms for exclusions.
There’s a STK restaurant at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. It seems that people either love it or hate it. However, one thing everyone agrees on is that it is EXPENSIVE. It should be NO problem to spend $150 for a party of two and this way you’ll save 20% off your bill.
There are many other AMEX offers out there. I had over 70 on each of my accounts. Be sure to check every once in a while as they are constantly adding new offers. Hopefully some of these will be helpful.
