The FOUR Air Fare Sales, Vacation Sales & Flash Sales Going on RIGHT NOW!

by SharonKurheg

I guess they were all (well, except one – more on that in a second) waiting for April Fools’ Day to be over, but a bunch of airlines have some sales going on right now. “Book by” dates vary for each, so pay attention to those terms and conditions.

Frontier

Frontier is selling 500,000 one-way domestic seats, starting at $20 each. And unlike some “starting at” sales, they actually have a bunch of those $20 seats available from Orlando, New Orleans, Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, Denver, Huntsville, Lafayette, Jackson, Little Rock, Trenton, Tulsa, and a whole lot more places.

The sale rates are valid for Monday through Saturday flights through May 15, 2019 and they must be booked by April 3, 2019.

JetBlue

Instead of lower prices, JetBlue is mixing things up a bit by offering “no fees” to change your flight, hotel or car when you book a JetBlue Vacations package by April 30, 2019.

Of course, terms apply:

All change fees for air and hotel portions of bookings are waived one time per booking for JetBlue Vacations bookings purchased between April 1 and April 30, 2019; any difference in airfare or hotel price will still apply. Changes may be made to any part of the booking (flights, hotels, or flights and hotels, including destination). Changes may be made up to 24 hours in advance of travel. Changes to an existing booking must include at least one change to the air or hotel portion, and may not be effected solely for the purpose of adding an additional promotion or other incentive offered by JetBlue or a third party. Cancellations are governed solely by the JetBlue Vacations Terms & Conditions and are not included in this promotion. Tours and activities booked as part of a Vacations package are not eligible for free change; changes to the dates or destination of a Vacations package that includes activities purchased through Viator or any other activities provider may be forfeited. JetBlue reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at any time for any reason without notice or liability. Proper documentation required for boarding.

Southwest

Because obscure holidays should be celebrated too, Southwest is holding The Obscure Holiday Sale. Ticket prices for one-way, non-stop travel start at just $59 one way (although I found some prices that are even cheaper) and you need to purchase from April 2 through 11, 2019 to get in on the sale.

Some examples are:

$49 Long Beach to San Jose
$55 Long Beach to Las Vegas
$59 Orlando to Fort Lauderdale
$83 Nashville to St. Louis
$91 New York/LaGuardia to Chicago.Midway
$113 Havana to Tampa

21-day advance purchase is required and blackout dates apply. Click here to read the rest of the terms & conditions, and to book.

WestJet

WestJet took their April Fools’ joke to a whole new level by using their fake festival as a spring board for their very real airfare sale and vacation sale.

Because WestJet is Canadian-based, the sale fares start in The Great White North. But from there you can travel anywhere WestJet goes (Canada, Caribbean & Central America, Europe, Mexico and the U.S.) for lower prices than usual.

Prices are for non-stop flights and booking must be done by April 4, 2019 (11:59pm MT) with travel through October 26, 2019 (blackout dates apply). Click here for more info!

And if you’re looking for a vacation package, WestJet has those on sale, to select destinations, too. Booking must be done by April 4, 2019 (11:59pm MT) with travel through October 26, 2019 (blackout dates apply). Sale prices are per guest, based on double occupancy and are limited.
