There’s another sweepstakes circulating around the internets and this one is to win a trip to Japan! Called the Japan: Discover the Land of the Gods sweepstakes and sponsored by the Japan National Tourism Organization, you have a chance to win a trip to a choice of 3 destinations in Japan, and you can bring a travel companion with you!
As part of entering the sweepstakes, you have to choose which destination in Japan you would like to visit:
- Oki Islands – Shimane (including Dogo Island East and Dogo Island West)
- Izumo, Shimane (including Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine, Adachi Museum and Tamatsukuri Onsen Hot Springs)
- Hiroshima (including Itsukushina Shrine & Miyajima Island, Hiroshima’s Okonomiyaki & Oyster and Hiroshima’s Atomic Bomb Dome & Peace Memorial Park & Museum)
The winner of the sweepstakes will be flown from the airport closest to his/her home to either Tokyo or Osaka, Japan and, following one night there, will be transported to the destination (s)he chose upon entering the sweepstakes, and then enjoy a 3-night stay there.
The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 states of the United States and the District of Columbia who are age 18 and over (age 21 and over in the states of Colorado and Mississippi because “age of majority“).
The entry period ends at 11:59:59pm PT on March 10, 2018 and you can enter once per person. The winner will be chosen via a random drawing within 15 business days after the sweepstakes entry deadline.
