A Legit, Decent Discount On Disneyland Tickets, Including 1-Day Tickets? Why, YES!

by SharonKurheg

You don’t see many decent and legit discounts for tickets to Disneyland. With Undercover Tourist, you can get $5 off a 2-day ticket (a park hopper tickets costs $50 more than a 1-park ticket, but the discount is still just $5). Or if you have a BJ’s or Sam’s Club membership, you can shave a few dollars off, as well. And I guess those and other discounts are OK. But if you want a 1-day ticket to Disneyland, there are NO decent discounts. Well, until now…

Disneyland has partnered with Amtrak this summer and if you take Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner, you can enjoy a 15% discount on the train travel AND 5% discount on 1 Day Park Hopper or 2-Day Park Hopper or 2-day 1-Park tickets.

The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner offers daily service from San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and popular destinations in between, including Anaheim.

If you decide to take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner directly to Disneyland, it’s pretty simple. As per the Pacific Surfliner’s blog, the Anaheim Regional Intermodal Transportation Center (ARTIC – it’s Anaheim’s train station) has a shuttle that takes you right to Disney’s front gates and they explain how to do it on their blog.

The tickets you purchase with this deal are good through December 31, 2019 and the 2-day tickets have to be used within 13 days of first use or by January 13, 2020, whichever happens first. But the deal itself, to but the discounted tickets, is only good through September 3, 2018. Go to this website for more info and to buy your tickets.
