Delta Announces New Changes To Its Scheduled Service

Due to fluctuating changes in CDC guidelines, government travel directives and reduced customer demands, airlines are constantly updating their flight schedules so they can serve the most people and still remain within the guidelines that are placed upon them during the global coronavirus pandemic.

With that, Delta has been making multiple changes to both its domestic and international schedules.

Suspended & Reduced Service

Delta has been continually updating its list of (mainly international) flights that have been suspended from mid-March onward. You can find the most updated changes here.

Where They Are Flying

Although Delta admits the list is fluid and may still change as needed, this is what their international flights currently look like for April:

TRANS-ATLANTIC

After significantly reducing service from the U.S. to most of Europe and the U.K., Delta will operate the following schedule to Amsterdam:

TRANS-PACIFIC

Delta will operate the following schedule to the Asia-Pacific region:

CARIBBEAN

Following suspensions in response to government travel restrictions, Delta will continue service to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic:

MEXICO

Delta will continue to operate to Mexico on the following reduced schedule:

CANADA

Following recent suspensions, Delta will continue to operate to Canada on the following reduced schedule:

All the changes are, of course, understandable. The CDC’s mandates have to be followed. You can’t have flights to places that aren’t accepting flights. And it doesn’t make financial sense to have multiple flights to/from places when there are so few people flying.

Strange days, indeed.
