I received an offer from Starbucks today that I’m going to take advantage of.
By reloading my Starbucks card with $20 from PayPal, I’ll earn an additional 100 Stars.
At face value, the offer is worth $3 to $6 depending on if you’re able to maximize your redemption (looking for the redemption level sweet spots? They’re right here.)
However, the offer can be even more lucrative if you’re able to stack it with another offer. Many people have access to the $30 monthly PayPal statement credit offered by the American Express Platinum card. There are many data points in this post’s comments that reloading your Starbucks account using PayPal triggers the credit.
If you received this offer from Starbucks, there’s no reason why you couldn’t load $30 to your Starbucks card using your AMEX Platinum card linked by PayPal; receive the $30 back via statement credit plus 100 Bonus Stars.
Since we like Starbucks, this is a no-brainer for us.
