Left Your Phone At The Gate? Better Hope These Employees are Working!

Every airline has their own way of dealing with things their passengers leave behind. Here are how each of the major U.S. airlines handle “lost and found” issues:

However that last one, Southwest, has an added bonus when it comes to lost and found. It’s in the form of an employee at Long Beach Airport (LGB). Or rather, employees (plural), who worked together as a team to reunite a passenger and their cell phone.

According to Southwest’s recent tweet, a passenger who had been waiting for their plane left their phone behind at LGB when they were headed to the jet way. By the time it was noticed, the plane was already pushed back from the gate.

The Southwest gate employees passed the phone on to workers on the tarmac, who passed it on to the pilot via some smooth moves that even LeBron James would have envied. Take a look…

And the crowd goes wild! Well done, LGB team! 😉
