For a long time, people with a Priority Pass Select membership as a perk from their credit card had to remember to bring the Priority Pass card with them when they traveled. That’s why I put my Priority Pass card in my wallet as part of my pre-trip planning. Eventually, Priority Pass came out with a phone app that showed a digital card. I never used it because the app was buggy, Priority Pass memberships from some banks couldn’t use it, and some lounges still only accepted a physical card.
Since the digital card wasn’t universally accepted, you still needed to bring your card when traveling.
Only recently, Capital One announced that Venture X cardholders could enter Priority Pass Select lounges with their credit card. No need to bring the Priority Pass card with you.
Not to be outdone, Chase has now integrated your Priority Pass membership information into the Chase mobile app.
When you log into your account, tap the “Benefits” button at the bottom of the screen.
Select the Sapphire Reserve card. Once on the benefits and travel page, tap the “Travel” button.
Once on the “Travel” page, scroll down to the “Explore Lounges” section. Chase knows my travel patterns as they showed me The Plumeria Lounge and The Club MCO. I’ve entered both lounges with my Priority Pass membership from the Sapphire Reserve.
If you tap the “See digital membership card” button, you’re taken to a page with a bar code for the Priority Pass membership linked to your credit card. On my iPhone, I was also given the option to add the barcode to my Apple Wallet.
The Chase app also has a lounge search function that shows all the places you can visit in each airport with your Priority Pass card.
Using your Priority Pass membership from the Chase app is more helpful than it sounds. I use the Chase app regularly, so I can log in faster, instead of having to look up my password to my Priority Pass account (and I have different login information for each Priority Pass card.)
I’ll still carry the physical card with me when we travel. But it’s nice to know that I could get into a club using the Chase mobile app if I forget my card.

I don’t think the Chase app changes anything. Maybe it replaces a buggy app that wasn’t universally accepted with a slightly better app that isn’t universally accepted. If you forget your card, the Chase app will help – like the old Priority Pass app does – only for those lounges that accept a digital card.
Very cool thx. Agree with everything you posted. The great thing about this PP wallet card is that it specifically references “CSR” on the wallet card. This is really helpful as I have several PP memberships and the digital cards provided by the PP app don’t indicate the corresponding credit card.
