As exciting as it is when the TSA adds new airlines to its list of participants in TSA PreCheck, it’s equally as frustrating when an airline you plan to use is not a participant. We even contacted several popular airlines to ask why they don’t participate (here’s what they said – and there’s some good news coming down the pike!).
But today is an exciting day because the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced the expansion of its TSA PreCheck program, with the addition of EIGHT(!!!) more airlines that will participate in its expedited screening program. On top of that news, one airline that were previously on TSA PreCheck’s list of participating airlines is no longer participating in the program, and one other airline in the program has had a name change.

Air Premia
Air Premia, legally known as Air Premia Inc., is a hybrid service carrier based in Seoul, South Korea. They offer departures from Seoul/Incheon, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York/Newark Liberty, Bangkok and Tokyo/Narita
Air Tahiti
Air Tahiti is a French airline company which operates in French Polynesia. Its main hub is Faa’a International Airport. It is the largest private employer in French Polynesia.
Air Transat
Air Transat is a Canadian airline based in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1986, it operates scheduled and charter flights serving 60 destinations in 25 countries.
Bahamasair
Bahamasair is an airline headquartered in Nassau. It is the national airline of The Bahamas and operates scheduled services to 32 domestic and regional destinations in the Caribbean and the United States.
BermudAir
Bermudair is a Bermudian airline operating from L.F. Wade International Airport in Hamilton, Bermuda.It has flights between Bermuda and the U.S. and Canada.
Iberia
Iberia is the flag carrier of Spain. Founded in 1927 and based in Madrid, it operates an international network of services from its main base of Madrid–Barajas Airport.
La Compagnie
La Compagnie is a French boutique airline founded by Frantz Yvelin and based at Orly Airport in Paris, with headquarters in Le Bourget in the Paris metropolitan area. It offers all-business class flights between Europe and Newark Liberty International Airport.
New Pacific Airlines
New Pacific Airlines, formerly known as Corvus Airlines and Northern Pacific Airways, is an American low-cost airline based in Anchorage, Alaska.
Removed from list
Lynx Air
Lynx Air was a Canadian ultra-low-cost carrier based in Calgary, Alberta. It ceased operations in February 2024.
Name change
Swift Air
Swift Air technically wasn’t removed from the list as much as it had a name change. It’s now known as iAero Airways. Headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, it operates charter flights for nationally known fractional aircraft operators, financial institutions, construction and transportation as well as many collegiate athletic departments, professional sports organizations, and major tour operators.
With these 8 additions, plus 1 removal and 1 name change, TSA PreCheck is currently offered in 2 countries (the U.S. and one international location) by 99 airlines.
