Emirates has opened a travel store in Hong Kong; it’s the first of its kind in the Fast East.
At 1,500 square feet, the Emirates Travel Store has a nicely sized footprint, with a lounge-like environment with light and modern furniture. While visiting the store, visitors are able to book tickets at four dedicated customer service counters, speak with experienced travel consultants about flying itineraries and, for a limited time, test out Emirates’ Premium Economy Class seats that are on display.
The store, located in Nexxus Building, offers interactive screens set up throughout the store to encourage customers to capture amusing selfies with friends against iconic Emirates backgrounds. In addition, smart technology-powered self-service screens minimize wait times and facilitate faster service, while LED screens showcase the latest Emirates products and promotional offers.
Customers visiting the store are also free to explore a selection of Emirates official merchandise and travel accessories.
This isn’t Emirates’ first travel store – they also have one in Emirates City, at ICD Brookfield Place in DIFC.
The Emirates Travel Store is part of the airline’s plan to build a new customer base in this part of the world. The airline specifically chose Hong Kong as the location for its first store in the Far East but has suggested that other locations (they’re in talks with China) will be announced in the future.
