One of the things I appreciate most about American Express is their AMEX Offers. Unlike promotions from other credit cards, which can be difficult to redeem or of little value, AMEX Offers can be quite lucrative and provide an excellent way to recoup the money spent on annual fees. While I occasionally take advantage of offers from specific companies—like when I received $40 back on my stay at Nobu Las Vegas in Caesars Palace—my favorite type of offer is one for something I would be paying for anyway.
Make sure to check your accounts, as we have three different offers for everyday spending items.
Cable & Internet
I’ve already maxed out on the first offer, which was for $10 back when spending $50 or more on your cable or internet bill, up to 2 times. My cable provider lets me split payments between cards, so I paid $50 to my AMEX card and put the remainder on our Ink Cash for 5X points.
This is an easy $20.
Insurance
The next offer is for 10% back up to a total of $20 on your insurance bill. One car insurance payment will knock this one off the list—another easy $20.
Streaming Services
This offer isn’t as lucrative as the other two, but it’s just as easy to redeem. By spending over $30, I’ll get $3 back, up to three times. This one is only worth $9, but for less than 1 minute of work, it’s a great return on my time investment.
If you’re eligible for the offer, there’s a list of the qualifying streaming services, which include Netflix, MAX, Prime Video, Disney+ and Hulu.
Starbucks
While this one isn’t a generic offer like the other three, it’s just as easy to redeem. By reloading my Starbucks account with $25 or more with my Delta Gold SkyMiles Business card, I’ll earn 250 Delta SkyMiles. This will stack with the 25 SkyMiles I’ll earn for a $25 Starbucks reload.
Final Thought
With these four offers, I’ll earn $49 and 1000 Delta SkyMiles. That’s not bad for a few mouse clicks and paying bills that I’d have to pay anyway.

Were these under Shopping or Services? Maybe I’m just not a priority for Amex with respect to the offers but across 5 cards (including the Platinum and Gold cards) I haven’t gotten any of the targeted offers in many months. I either get restaurants I never heard of, travel that is very limited and hasn’t fit my needs or shopping with stores I don’t frequent. Oh well I keep checking every week to see if something useful shows up
Never get any good offers!!
