Apple Card users, exciting updates have arrived with changes to your card benefits taking effect immediately—and one negative change coming in 2025. Two new merchants have joined the 3% Daily Cash program, a popular option will see a downgrade early next year, and there’s a new travel perk you won’t want to miss. Here’s everything you need to know:
New Merchants for 3% Daily Cash Back
- Booking.com
Earn 3% Daily Cash on eligible stays and car rentals booked through this exclusive link and paid with Apple Card using Apple Pay.
Bonus: You’ll also receive an additional 2% in Booking.com travel credits on eligible stays and car rentals.Limitations:- Eligible stays must be paid for using the “Pay now” rate at the time of booking and can be identified with a badge labeled “Apple Card Benefits.”
- Eligible car rentals must be paid for using either the “Pay now” rate or the “Pay part now, part later” rate. Daily Cash is only earned on the prepaid portion of the “Pay part now, part later” rate.
- You must use the exclusive Booking.com link provided to access eligible stays and car rentals.
- Stays and car rentals booked through the Booking.com mobile app or the Booking.com website without using the exclusive link may not be eligible for 3% Daily Cash.
- ChargePoint
Receive 3% Daily Cash at qualifying ChargePoint stations and on purchases of home chargers made with Apple Pay.
Upcoming Change: Panera Bread
Starting February 1, 2025, Panera Bread will no longer offer 3% Daily Cash. Purchases made with Apple Card and Apple Pay will instead earn the standard 2% Daily Cash.
The Updated 3% Daily Cash Merchant List
Here’s the complete list of merchants as of February 1, 2025, where you can earn 3% Daily Cash with Apple Card when using Apple Pay:
- Apple
- Ace Hardware
- Booking.com
- ChargePoint
- Duane Reade
- Exxon
- Mobil
- Nike
- T-Mobile
- Uber
- Uber Eats
- Walgreens
The Booking.com benefit is a solid option for those not focused on earning hotel loyalty points. However, the requirement to prepay for eligible hotel stays and car rentals makes it less flexible for some users. Despite this, these updates expand the Apple Card’s appeal, particularly for frequent travelers and EV drivers taking advantage of ChargePoint.
