Note: This post contains useful information about a large-scale upcoming event that is based in politics. It’s meant as a way for our readers to plan their travels this Saturday and is not political commentary. We don’t care which side of the political fence you lean on, who you voted for, or what you think of any government entity. Politically charged comments to this post will not be approved.
This Saturday, April 5th, there will be a large scale mobilization, mainly throughout the U.S., called Hands Off.
Calling it a National Day of Action, the people behind Hands Off are organizing non-violent protests throughout the country to demonstrate against the actions of current U.S. government leaders.
Again, we don’t care how you feel about the current state of the United States. However we do want our readers to know that, as of this writing, Hands Off will affect several cities (in some cases, dozens of them) in every state in the country. Protests are also being planned outside the U.S. – more on that in a moment.
Plan accordingly
If you’re planning on being out and about that day – perhaps as a visitor, perhaps as a local – you may want to check and see where demonstrations will be taking place, so you can plan your day accordingly.
There are currently over 1,000 protests planned for the U.S. that day. Someone is keeping track and has created a Google Doc with a continually-updated list as more demonstrations are planned and solidified for April 5th. You can see the list here.
Europe & Canada, too
And for those of you who are outside the U.S., be aware that a map of planned events also shows demonstrations in Ottawa, Canada; London, England; Lyon, France; both Berlin and Frankfurt, Germany; Amsterdam, The Netherlands; both Lagos and Lisbon, Portugal.
Again, plan accordingly.
To reiterate, this post is meant as a way for our readers to plan their travels this Saturday and is not political commentary. We don’t care which side of the political fence you lean on, who you voted for, or what you think of any government entity. Politically charged comments to this post will not be approved.

Any way to know WHERE they are going to take place? Specifically?
The “Hands Off!” website may go into more specifics?
Obviously no one cares LOL, you’re not exactly inundated with posts
