Hilton Honors is back with a new promotion for the final stretch of 2025, and while it comes with a fresh name — “Stay More, Earn More” — it’s unlikely to excite even the most loyal Hilton guests.

How the Promotion Works
The promotion runs from October 1 through December 31, 2025, and it’s about as simple as it gets:
- Promo name: “Stay More, Earn More”
- Bonus: 1,500 Hilton Honors points per completed stay
- Registration: Required before your first eligible stay
There are no extra tiers, no app or resort bonuses, and no kicker after a certain number of nights or stays. You check in, you check out, you get 1,500 bonus points — and that’s that.
Short Stays Win (But Not by Much)
This type of promotion clearly favors travelers with multiple short stays. If you’re someone who’s hopping between hotels for work, or racking up many one-night visits, you’ll benefit more than someone spending a week in the same room. Longer stays don’t earn more bonus points — just the same 1,500 per stay — so this structure penalizes anyone who stays more than a night or two at a time.
What Are 1,500 Hilton Points Worth?
Not much. Based on how I redeem Hilton points, 1,500 points are worth about $7.50 — and that’s being generous. That might cover a bottle of water from the lobby store or a fraction of a future award stay.
When you consider how many points Hilton guests already earn — 10 base points per dollar spent, up to 100% elite status bonuses, and as many as 14x points with a Hilton co-branded credit card — this 1,500-point promo feels like a rounding error.
Compared to Past Promos? A Snooze
Hilton has previously offered promotions that awarded double points, resort bonuses, or app-based incentives. This one? None of that. It’s about as bare bones as it gets. There’s no excitement, no reason to shift stays to Hilton if you weren’t already planning to stay there anyway.
If you’re staying with Hilton during the promo window, sure, register and grab your 1,500 points per stay. However, I don’t expect this promotion to alter anyone’s travel plans.
At Least It’s Better Than “Points Plus”
While “Stay More, Earn More” isn’t going to win any awards for creativity or value, it does offer a slightly better return than Hilton’s previous promotion, Points Plus, which ended on August 15, 2025. That promo awarded just 1,000 points per stay — so technically, this new 1,500-point offer is a step up.
But even more telling is what happened between these promos: absolutely nothing. Hilton used to run promotions back-to-back, with one offer seamlessly starting as another ended. Now, we’re seeing noticeable gaps — like the one-month gap between the end of “Points Plus” and the start of “Stay More, Earn More.” If your Hilton stay happens to fall during one of these off periods, you’re simply out of luck. No registration, no promo, no bonus points. That’s a trend we’re not thrilled to see continue.
Final Thought
Between the disappointing summer “Points Plus” promo and this underwhelming fall offer, Hilton’s recent promotions feel like they’re on autopilot. Maybe they’re coasting on strong leisure travel demand — or maybe they’re just cutting back on incentives. Either way, “Stay More, Earn More” doesn’t offer much reason to get excited.
