Brightline Launches Its Own Loyalty Program — “Brightline Rewards”

by joeheg

Brightline’s been zipping riders between Orlando and South Florida for a while now, but one thing it never had? A loyalty program. That just changed — say hello to Brightline Rewards.

If you’ve taken Brightline between Orlando and South Florida (like my wife Sharon’s been doing while racking up airports for JetBlue’s “25 for 25” promotion), you’d know that there’s been no sort of loyalty program for the rail service. That is, until now.

How It Works

Membership is free and simple:

  1. Join — Sign up online or in the Brightline app.
  2. Earn — Get 5 points per dollar on tickets, baggage, parking, and other eligible purchases.
  3. Redeem — There’s no minimum; use your points anytime toward future rides, upgrades, or add-ons.

What You’ll Get

According to Brightline, members can look forward to:

  • Points on every purchase (1 dollar = 5 points)
  • Discounts when showing your membership card in the station
  • Redemptions for travel and upgrades
  • Exclusive members-only offers and “surprise and delight” bonuses
  • Access to VIP events and special perks

How to Sign Up

You can enroll now at gobrightline.com/rewards or through the Brightline app — it only takes a few seconds.

Once registered, you’ll start earning immediately on your next purchase, and points will appear in your account within a few days of travel.

Final Thought

With this new program, Brightline joins the ranks of major travel providers offering a way to reward frequent riders. It’s a smart move — especially for Floridians who already use Brightline to skip I-95 and the Florida Turnpike or to connect to flights from Orlando and Miami.

Now if only they’d rolled it out back when Sharon was taking the train for those flights to Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach with JetBlue…
