You’ve got to hand it to Starbucks. They took something that started as an internet rumor and turned it into an actual marketing strategy.
For years, “secret menu” drinks were just users inventing wild combinations and sharing them online. Baristas would stare blankly when someone ordered a Double Upside-Down Caramel Macchiato with blonde shots and three pumps of brown sugar. But then came the drink that changed everything:
The Pink Drink.
It started as a fan-created hack: take a Strawberry Açaí Refresher and swap the water for coconut milk. It was Instagram-friendly, it tasted good, and suddenly, Starbucks had a phenomenon on its hands. It proved that customers would actively seek out these secret menu items — and that Starbucks could use the hype to boost app engagement.
Starbucks x Delta: The New Secret Menu Collab
Open your Starbucks app, tap Offers, and you’ll see something new:
“Tastes like an in-flight icon.” 🤫✈️

It says the drink is inspired by “the cookie you love at 30,000 feet.” And judging by the ingredients, it’s very clear which cookie they mean.
Recipe (from the app):
- Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
- (+) Extra Cinnamon Powder
- (+) Line the cup with Caramel
- (+) 1 Pump Chai
The result? A drink that tastes like that spiced caramel-cookie airline legend — without Starbucks having to actually license the name.
We see you, Starbucks. We see the cookie. We taste the cookie. But we definitely don’t say “Biscoff®.” 😉

How to Order It
- Open the Starbucks app
- Tap Offers
- Select the drink and customize if needed
- Tap the ❤️ to save it to Favorites
That’s it. Cookie-flavored caffeine delivered. (And yes — you can customize it further if you prefer a different milk.)
Final Thought
Airlines have cobranded credit cards and cobranded lounges… and now apparently, cobranded secret menu coffee drinks. Honestly? We didn’t have that on our 2025 travel bingo card.
But if Starbucks wants to serve up Biscoff-adjacent caffeine without actually saying “Biscoff,” we’re here for it.
Are you going to give it a try?
