Imagine a 45 foot tall Christmas tree made completely out of Disney’s Tsum Tsum characters. Now imagine surrounding it with a Disney-themed snow village and train station. Pretty cool, huh? But here’s the best part – you don’t have to imagine it, because it really exists!
To fill the holiday season with cheer and magic, the Tsum-tacular Christmas Tree & Village has opened in SM City North EDSA The Block Atrium which is a mall in Quezon City, Philippines. It’s part of a new “We Love Disney” campaign, which being done in partnership with SM Lifestyle Entertainment Inc. and The Walt Disney Company. Their mutual goal is to bring the world-renowned Disney brand closer to the hearts of Filipinos by creating more magical moments and memories for the whole family (and what better way to do that than to make a Disney village right in a really popular mall around Christmastime, right? LOLOL!). Now, the Philippines are probably a little far for most of us, but fortunately, there are lots of pictures online to get a taste of all that Christmasy Disney Tsum Tsum goodness!
The display opened in November and Mickey and Minnie were on hand to help with the opening festivities:
The tree looks gorgeous…it’s 45 feet tall and made completely of larger-than-life Disney Tsum Tsums, including Mickey Mouse, Stitch, Pooh, Marie, Flounder, Donald, Tigger, Minnie Mouse and others:
The tree is surrounded by a Disney themed Christmas Village that has lots of photo ops:
They give out free Tsum Tsum stickers:
And, of course, a traditional Santa Claus is on hand at the mall to add to the holiday festivities:
Other SM Supermalls in the Philippines are celebrating their own respective magical Christmas with other Disney- and Pixar-themed holiday displays: Mickey Mouse and Friends, Disney Princess, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, Cars, and Sofia the First. Each display will be supported by different weekly activities and exciting events, plus the SM Store and Toy Kingdom are offering their extensive collection of Disney merchandise items.
The Tsum-tacular Christmas Village at the SM City North EDSA The Block Atrium will be open until Jan. 7, 2018.
